A PM&R medical student rotation is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a career in internal medicine, family practice, neurology or geriatrics. Medical students will gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes outlined below through the four-week elective PM&R rotation. Students will rotate through the outpatient clinic at the UAMS Stephens Spine Center, the PM&R consult service at University Hospital , inpatient services at Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute and both inpatient and outpatient services at the North Little Rock Veteran’s Hospital and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

PM&R Student Interest Group
The UAMS College of Medicine PM&R Special Interest Group meets at least once a semester to discuss topics relating to the PM&R field including subspecialties and careers. Members are also invited to attend PM&R Resident Journal Clubs and other special events.
